FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (M/F/X)
Insort is developing and manufacturing highly innovative sensor-based and customizedsorting and monitoring equipment for the international food processing industry. Our developments open new unimagined possibilities for food safety and quality control in the food processing industry. We are headquartered in Austria, Europe with a US sales and service subsidiary based in Turlock, California. We are looking for Northern Europe, especially Belgium.
You will receive extensive training on our machines at our headquarters in Kirchberg an der Raab, after which you will be deployed at our customers‘ premises together with our experienced service technicians. After this thorough training phase, you will work independently and as part of a team as a service technician responsible for Belgium, the Netherlands and northern Germany.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- On-site Installation and commissioning of our sorting machines at our customers in Belgium, Netherlands and Northern Germany
- Carrying out services, maintenance, upgrades, conversions and modernisations on our existing machines
- Executing operator training plans and training new and experienced customers on Insort’s sorting and monitoring equipment
- Detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting on the machines regarding mechanics, sensors, electrics and software in close coordination with the internal specialist departments
- Technical customer support on site and remotely
ABOUT YOU
- Technical education (high school diploma or equivalent) in the field of electronical engineering, mechatronics or similar
- Relevant work experience is an advantage
- Experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, diagrams and electrical regulations as well as handling hand tools
- Very good language skills in Dutch, English, good language skills in German
- Customer-oriented, independent way of working combined with high analytical skills
- Enjoy travelling - over 50% willingness to travel and readiness for assignments lasting several weeks
