New Leadership at Insort:
Lukas Lackner Appointed as CEO
As of July 1st, 2025, Lukas Lackner has taken over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Insort GmbH. A long-standing team member and experienced executive, he succeeds Dr. Markus Schlagbauer, whom we thank sincerely for his valuable contributions and commitment over the past eighteen months.
Lukas Lackner most recently served as CEO of Insort Inc. in the United States. In this role, he significantly contributed to the successful development of the North American market and helped strengthen Insort’s international positioning.

Now based at our headquarters in Berndorf, Austria, Lukas is leading Insort’s global operations and shaping the company’s next growth phase. This move highlights the strategic importance of our headquarters as a center for innovation, technology, and leadership within the international food technology sector.
