Only Insort enables the detection of chemical defects such as sugar ends and glassy potatoes, delivering unmatched reliability independent of colour, shape or surface condition.

Combined with high-resolution colour cameras, our systems are also capable of identifying the smallest surface-visible defects on both sides of the product. This capability is particularly valuable in applications where surface quality plays a key role, such as washed and fresh-pack potatoes, where discolorations, bruising patterns or early-stage disease indicators must be detected consistently at high throughput.

Steam peelers can be precisely controlled based on the amount of in-line peel waste or dry matter, minimising losses while maximising process yield and product quality.
